Uw tuin in top conditie houden is vaak niet gemakkelijk. Voor het onderhouden van de tuin is het belangrijk dat de planten regelmatig water krijgen zodat er voorkomen wordt dat de planten slecht groeien of zelfs dood gaan. Over een groot deel van het jaar lukt het de planten zelf goed om aan water te komen. Dit doen ze via grondwater, regen of dauw, maar tijdens sommige delen van het jaar wordt het voor de planten moeilijker en zijn ze afhankelijk van jou. Meestal loopt het watertekort gelijk met de hogere temperaturen in de zomer en het najaar.
Je kan het natuurlijk zelf doen, door een gieter of een tuinslang bij een grotere tuin. Maar het wanneer je tuin dusdanig groot is wordt het erg arbeidsintensief. Steeds meer mensen kiezen daarom voor een beregeningsinstallatie om de tuin te sproeien en te beregenen. Hier een aantal tips opgesteld door Jacotech.
Wat heb je nodig voor een tuinberegeningsinstallatie
Om de tuin in top conditie te houden kiezen mensen voor pop-up sproeiers. Deze sproeiers zorgen voor een gelijkmatige besproeiing van de tuin. In combinatie met een computer kan dit zelfs geheel automatisch en wordt er precies doorgegeven wanneer en hoeveel er gesproeid moet worden.
Soorten pop-up sproeiers
Er zijn verschillende sproeiers mogelijk, dit is afhankelijk van de inzet. Je kan hierbij denken aan grote tuinen, gazon, golfbanen, sportvelden of landbouw. Ook kan een beregeningsinstallatie ingezet worden tegen stof link intern
De werking van pop-up sproeiers is allemaal hetzelfde. De sproeiers zijn in de grond weggewerkt, tot het maaiveld, en komen omhoog wanneer er druk op staat. Deze druk komt door het water dat door de leidingen gaat en wordt ook de werkdruk genoemd. De werkdruk geeft aan hoeveel druk er nodig is om de sproeiers omhoog te laten komen.
Het soort sproeier dat nodig is, hangt af van de planten. Buiten de reguliere sproeiers heb je ook de mogelijkheid om te kiezen voor nevelaars, deze geven een fijner sproeibeeld en zo wordt er voorkomen dat bloemen en planten beschadigd worden.
Verder hebben sproeiers een hoek waarin ze sproeien. Dit kan volledig rond zijn, 360 graden full circle, of een beperkte hoek. De beperkte hoek wordt een part circle genoemd en gaat van 40 tot 360 graden. Het is dus belangrijk dat je van te voren weet welke soort er benodigd is.
Waterdruk
De eerder genoemde werkdruk of de waterdruk zorgt er bij de pop-up sproeiers voor dat deze door de druk omhoog komen en vervolgens gaan sproeien. Iedere sproei werkt met een bepaalde waterdruk. De werkdruk is afhankelijk van de sproeier en de geplaatste nozzle. Dit is de kop van de sproeier. De nozzle is verwisselbaar en bepaald het sproeibeeld en de afstand.
Wanneer je een sproeier en nozzle kies, is het belangrijk om met de waterdruk rekening te houden. In de meeste huishoudens levert het volledig openzetten van de kraan 1,5 tot 2 bar aan druk op. In combinatie met de maximale watertoevoer van 1500 liter per uur bepaald dit het uitgangspunt voor het type en het aantal sproeiers dat je kunt aansluiten. Wil je grotere sproeiers aansluiten en is de capaciteit niet voldoende? Dan is een waterpomp de oplossing. Deze zijn aanwezig in verschillende uitvoeringen en capaciteiten.
